I suffer from Major Depression and I'm currently taking Effexor and Neurontin. I've noticed a significant amount of hair loss and it's getting to the point to where I.

It is listed as an infrequent side effect. It's on the back side of the foldout, in the center panel about halfway down the page. Alopecia is listed in the Effexor literature that comes with the drug.

My hair feels thicker again. I have no idea if the perception is what has changed, or the actual hair loss, though, since I am feeling so much better now. I have had some hair loss and thought it was due to ADs, but then since my hypothyroid has been treated more aggressively, it seems to me the hairloss is less of a problem.

My best friend snapped my picture and I looked at it two weeks after the party.

To the Editor: We report on a depressed woman who complained of hair loss during treatment with venlaine, a serotonin-noradrenaline.

Her general practitioner began treatment with venlaine, 75 mg/day. After 15 days, her dose of venlaine was increased to 150 mg/day. Four weeks later, Ms. After 2 weeks, she also noticed hair loss when she brushed or washed her hair. She did not fulfill DSM-IV criteria for any other axis I or personality disorder. Her hair loss stopped compley 1 month later. A was much better. Ms. A was a 50-year-old woman who had suffered from a severe major depressive episode of a melancholic subtype. Ms. However, she reported moderate side effects, such as nausea and somnolence, that began after 2 days of treatment.
