In one case, a lawsuit was filed against the makers of Ambien. Lawsuits have been filed against some sleeping pill manufacturers due to side effects that can accompany taking sleep aids. This lawsuit was filed because plaintiffs claimed that after taking Ambien they sleep walked and unknowingly put themselves in bodily harm.
