Is zoloft addictive or a narcotic?

2 Answers - Posted in: zoloft, drug dependence, addiction, doctor, narcotic - Answer: Zoloft is a prescription medication used to treat a number.

I have no. There's nothing you can do for that. I was diagnosed with OPSTD.Ongoing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder by my previous medical doctor.

My doctor just switched me. I have PTSD and depression issues. I have been on various medications and therapy for over 20 years. unsure of myself. .

From what I have read no anti depressants are addictive at all. Some can give you a hard time if and when you stop but that's not addiction.

Some do get relief from various opiate based drugs but they are not classified as anti depressants as I underdtand it.

Seritonin does not create anything of the sort, but instead simply has a balancing effect.

I have been on Zoloft at least 6 months. Two days ago I decided to stop my narcotic because I know that I am addicted. Now I am more.
