I agree with Pledge. I went off it cold turkey a while back and got some crazy dizziness and brain zaps for 2 or 3 weeks. It got so bad I went back on and weaned off over 2 or 3 weeks. Then I was ok.

Thanks so much for your feedback. Fingers crossed. I am going to ease up and take a small dose and see if this feeling goes away.

I am going to take a little and see if it helps.

Sertraline (Zoloft) Causes, Symptoms, Treatment - What should I

What is the most important information I should know about sertraline (Zoloft)? After you stop taking sertraline, you must wait at least 14 days before you start.

To be sure you get the correct dose, measure the liquid with the medicine dropper provided. Stir this mixture and drink all of it right away. To make sure you get the entire dose, add a little more water to the same glass, swirl gently and drink right away. The liquid form of sertraline must be diluted before you take it. Mix the dose with 4 ounces (one-half cup) of water, ginger ale, lemon/lime soda, lemonade, or orange juice. Do not use any other liquids to dilute the medicine.

Visit the FDA MedWatch website or call 1-800-FDA-1088.

Sertraline Withdrawal .. Does it go away?.Thread discussing

I guess when people stop posting, it means they've got better.. I am having now is when I stopped taking the Zoloft..but when I was weaning.

So any time your gettin low.

I was advised to reinstate sertraline at a very low dose. Hopefully, this will stop the withdrawal symptoms when I get off them. I will stay on this dose for a while and then go a bit lower to see how I feel. After a month off and horrible withdrawals, I've been on 3mg for 3 days and it's helping! My brain zaps have compley stopped! My eye is a lot better too. I've done this.

I have faith that one day they will be gone....and I hope the same for you Love Lee.

As you go back to look where you've and how far you have come you should find relief in seeing the progress.

Getting Off Zoloft Is Challenging - The People39s Pharmacy

One day after stopping this drug I experienced unbearable dizziness. My husband started taking Zoloft about 1.5 weeks ago, 12mg, and he is.

So frustrating…but my body has relief on it!. Thank you….this is all common sense to me, too. I’ve been on sertraline for 2 years and wanted to go off. I’ve had awful vertigo and of course that kicked my anxiety into high gear.

If this doesn’t work in a week I’m too see an ENT.
