I am so sorry that Prozac is not working for you anymore, even on the increased dosage. Please don't give up hope, often changing meds can.

Another great reason to see a specialist! Newbie. If I got up to 20, I didn't function correctly. There are too many medications for a gp to keep track of & new ones are emerging all the time. My maintenance level was 5mg. It's so interesting how different meds affect different people.

And if one doesn't work you can try another. I agree with you about the benzos. But keep trying. Been in rehab with some of these folks and it's tough on them! Best wishes and good luck! It can sometimes be a long road to get to a cocktail that works for you. What's working best for me right now is Effexor/Zyprexa/Lamictal.
